Hallowood’s
55 acres of hardwood forest are nestled in a valley at the foot of
Sugarloaf Mountain.
and partially surrounded by the 2,000 acre Monocacy State Forest.
About eight acres of the land are cleared, where the Hallowood Retreat & Conference
Center is sited at the edge of the woods next to the lake. The building was designed to
blend into the environment and to combine the natural setting into the meeting spaces.
The property includes an historic log cabin, that contains exhibits of local plant and animal life. Play volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard or field sports, cycle, or run on miles of hiking and jogging trails. Equipment is provided for most sports. |
